Dr Susan Kok, Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr Susan Kok is a local and internationally trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She was born in Sydney and grew up on the upper North Shore. Dr Kok attended Abbotsleigh College in Wahroonga, and completed her final two years of high school at Hornsby Girls’ High School. She graduated from Dentistry, University of Otago with Credit and from Medicine, Sydney University with Honours. Dr Kok has over 8 years’ experience as a private dental surgeon and over 10 years experience in the public hospital system. Dr Kok is highly proficient in all areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She has completed her intern and resident years at Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as a senior surgical resident year at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. Susan has undergone registrar training in both NSW and New Zealand, where she has had extensive experience in Maxillofacial trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, Temporomandibular Joint procedures, and Oncological surgery. She is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospital, and holds the FRACDS (OMS) from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Susan is the first female medically qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to open a practice in Sydney, and provides the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
