Dr Lydia Lim is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Sydney. Dr Lim
obtained her Bachelor and Masters degrees at Sydney University. She also
obtained the FRACDS during her training and on completion of her OMFS
training program she was awarded the specialist Fellowship
FRACDS(OMS). Dr Lim then furthered her surgical training with an
overseas fellowship in the United States at the University of Texas Health
Science Center at Houston. Dr Lim is currently actively involved in the
NSW OMFS training program in her role as Head of Department of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at Westmead Hospital and Consultant Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Children’s hospital at Westmead. She is an
Honorary Associate of the University of Sydney Discipline of Orthodontics
where she has been teaching Orthognathic Surgery to the Post-graduate
Orthodontic program for the past 20 years. Dr Lim is also in private practice
where she has a special interest in Orthognathic Surgery and Dental
Implantology .
