Simply The Best!

An Interdisciplinary Dental Symposium

BOSS and The Digital Orthodontic College are hosting a new educational and networking dental event at Australia’s iconic Sydney Opera House in 2023.

Located in the venue’s Yallamundi Rooms, the Simply the Best! symposium will be held from 20-21 May, with the objective of providing an equitable and inclusive platform for our profession.

Embedding a core mission of social responsibility by giving back a percentage of all proceeds to a charitable group, the symposium will strive to lead by example. In addition to providing a diverse program catering to dental practitioners of all experience levels, we will promote gender equity in the event’s faculty of lecturers. To learn more about our mission, and what sparked the creation of this Symposium, please click here

We are tremendously excited to be launching this addition to the dental professional calendar in 2023: I hope you are able to join us in this stunning location for a wonderful weekend of learning and networking.

DATE & LOCATION

20 – 21 May 2023
The Yallamundi Rooms, Sydney Opera House

Story of Yallamundi

Meaning ‘storyteller’ in the local Sydney language , Yallamundi celebrates the Sydney Opera House connection to First Nations culture. As a meeting place for community celebrations, intimate gatherings and performances, the Yallamundi Rooms carry on the legacy of Tubowgule, maintaining a deep connection to the past, present and future of the Opera House.

This event space is crescent-shaped and spans the entire northern end of the eastern podium to take advantage of spectacular harbour views.

Oscillating fabric and brass panels thread their way along the southern side of the new rooms, complimenting the beautifully restored original Terrazzo floor. Visible from the Northern Broadwalk and the harbour, they bring together the Utzon, Hall and new vision of the Opera House.
